Top Note Purse and thank you card

Purse with flower added

This is a little thank you gift i made for Deb for hosting a workshop on Sunday, I also made a matching cover for a block of cadbury chocolate too but for got to take a pic, doh. I filled the purse with 3" x 2 1/2" note cards. It held 4 nicely with a little room for envelopes too.I decided to fancy it up by adding the flower before giving it to her.

To make the purse you will need:

Big shot, scallop circle die, top note die, circle scissors plus, jumbo antique  brad, crop o dile, 3/8” black taffeta ribbon, paper piercer

Cut card stock at 5 ½ “ x  6”, score @ 1”on both ends (short side) , turn & score @ 2 ½ “ & 3 ½ “.fold  cut up to 1” score lines, assemble, cut 2 top notes in same colour as box & 2 in patterned paper, cut on dotted line so you get a layer, trim off top, attach to box. Cut scallop circle, pierce holes if desired, cut circle with circle scissors plus at 3 ½ “ attach to scallop circle, score and attach to box at back with strong glue. Add Velcro dot to front. Use crop o dile to punch a hole then add the jumbo brad. Tie ribbon to make handle.

To make the Flower- Punch out 1 scallop circle, 2 - 5 petal flower and 1 set of boho blossoms, layer all punches from largest to smallest pierce hole in centre add brad, spritz with water scrunch up tight then unravel, dry.
